Call for papers
First Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the Twenty-first Workshop on Cantonese (WOC-21) will be held via ZOOM on Saturday, June 26, 2021. The theme of WOC-21 is Interdisciplinary Studies of Cantonese. Topics may include but are not limited to:

• Language and computing
• Language and cognition, mind
• Language and society

Abstracts are invited for 20-minute talks with 10 minutes for discussion. You can give your presentation in Cantonese, English or Putonghua. Abstracts may be written in Chinese or English and should be limited to one A4 page with the name(s) of author(s), affiliation and email address(es). Abstracts in DOC format should be sent to: lshk.linguists@gmail.com.

Deadline for submissions: May 31, 2021
Notification of acceptance: June 10, 2021 (via e-mail)
